These programs make it very easy for you to help us with just a few clicks! There are three programs on which DKC supporters can vote for the shelter and help win a prize. Each of these sites supports rescue groups who work to care for homeless animals and each seeks to raise awareness about the importance of taking action to save these little lives. Our shelter funds are really tight right now and any help would be a godsend.

Care2 is hosting America's Favorite Animal Shelter Contest (2008). Care2 will donate a total of $15,000 to the local animal shelters or rescue groups with the most votes, and Adopt-a-Pet.com offers a $1,000 donation to a randomly selected participating shelter each week for five weeks, plus rewards for recruiters. We are encouraging friends to click to help rescued animals on The Animal Rescue Site, and then to vote every day for Humane Society of Dallas in the $100,000 Shelter+ Challenge. Clicking and voting is free for site visitors, but the right number of votes can mean as much as $25,000 for the winning shelter. Weekly prizes of $1,000 are also available.
