Honey was rescued by a caring person who found him walking along 377 in Fort Worth. She took him in and after many failed attempts to find his owner, turned to a friend to foster him until he finds his forever home.
His foster mom reports that even though he has apparently had a rough life to this point, Honey is sweet, calm and good with everyone especially children. He absolutely loves attention, belly rubs and kisses. He walks well on a leash and loves to eat – a smart boy, he knows sit, come, let’s go or down and will crawl towards his foster mom when asked and knows a treat reward is waiting – want a dance partner, then Honey’s your guy – he will jump and let you hold his front paws while you dance with him!! Honey’s foster mom is working on housebreaking him and reports very few accidents, he just needs reinforcement. He is current on all his vaccinations and is neutered.
Honey is looking for a home where he will get daily exercise and would probably enjoy lounging in a sunny spot in the backyard during summer. If you are looking for a steadfast companion to join your family, look no further than Honey!!
Honey is not at the shelter but in his foster home. If you want to meet this sweet guy, please contact us at
