Midori was taking a leisurely morning walk in a deserted part of town looking a bit lost. When invited to climb into the car, she acquiesced most graciously. Tail wagging, head wedged next to the driver, she simply took in the scenery as she was driven to the shelter. She remained as a guest at the shelter until a foster home became available.
Midori thrives on affection. Her foster mother finds her to be most sweet, gentle and a loving dog. And of course most smart! She is quite a snuggler! She is so cute, when petted, she breathes very heavily, almost like a purr. She loves to play chase with a large ball in the backyard batting it around with her front paws. Midori is house trained. She can be left unattended with no worries.
Midori was a gem in the rough when found. She was insecure around dogs, but look at the progress Midori has made with the help of a dog trainer and her foster mother’s tutelage! With caring guidance, she will continue to shine!
If you seek a loyal companion, look no further. Midori is waiting for you.
Midori is not at the shelter but in a foster home. If you would like to meet her, please contact us at
