Roscoe was roaming loose in his foster family’s neighborhood when they took him into their home – malnourished and about 10 pounds underweight, with a dull and course coat, he is now a healthy 69 pounds - lucky dog he is – let's find a good home for this deserving boy.
Roscoe loves to play and often plays with other dogs in the neighborhood. He barks on occasion and is a good watch dog. He is crate trained and is very good about alerting someone when he needs to go out and will patiently wait at the back door until someone lets him back in. Roscoe walks well on the leash (walk, trot, walk) and loves to be bathed and groomed.
Roscoe is a bloodhound mix so he is a good sized dog and needs room to roam and play with other dogs. He is an extremely sweet guy who needs structure in a loving environment – he’s a happy gentle soul who just wants to be loved!!!
If you are someone who wants a fun, happy and loyal companion, has a fenced yard where he can get plenty of exercise, willing to make him an active part of the family, then Roscoe is the dog for you!!
Roscoe is not at the shelter but in a foster home. If you want to meet wonderful Roscoe, please contact us at
to make an appointment to see him.
