Hello, my name is Mabel, which means “amiable” in Latin. I am a dark brindle female mixed breed. Rescued two years ago by my owner, I have been a loving and loyal companion. Sadly my owner must now move to a big city in the Northeast for work and can not take me with him.
I am an intelligent and well-behaved dog, I walk well on a leash and can be left alone all day in a house or apartment, provided I get my regular meals and walks! I really love to lie on the couch and be petted and have my belly rubbed and lick my companions hands. My hair is short and I don’t need much brushing.
I get along very well with all sort of dogs, but probably not cats, and I am too energetic for young children. Please help me find a good home so my owner doesn't have to leave me in a shelter!
Mabel is not at the shelter, so if you want to meet her, contact adoptions@dognkittycity.org.
This animal has been lucky enough to be adopted into a loving home! Please help us find homes for the others by contributing in any of these ways.
