Gracie was rescued from the streets of South Dallas in April 2012. She was living with several other stray dogs and a Group of homeless people who have been looking out for the dogs, sharing their food, etc. They also did a great job socializing them as our Gracie is quite the social butterfly. She absolutely LOVES everyone she meets! She doesn't know a stranger and is always quick to greet everyone with a friendly tail wag and kiss. In fact, her tail wags almost non-stop. And her eyes, wow! Beautiful blue eyes that just beg you to pet her.
Gracie is about 50 lbs and has been spayed, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. She is also crate and house trained. She was living with other dogs on the streets so we think with a proper introduction she would do well with a canine sibling but she'd also be just fine as an only dog. Her favorite thing in the world is to be right by your side, cuddled up next to you. She is a total love bug and is very eager to please; recently she learned the "sit" command and is very good with it. She walks well on the leash and behaves like a good dog when she goes to pet-friendly patios. She will make a wonderful addition to one lucky family! Gracie is the kind that you'd be proud to take with you everywhere you go as she is such a hit with everyone she meets!
If you looking for a great pal to become part of your family, please consider Gracie.
