Marlo and her sister KoKo are looking to find a forever home. Found by their foster family on a country road outside Blooming Grove drinking water from a muddy puddle – starving for food and affection - it would be fantastic if these two girls were adopted together as they are bonded and love playing together and will both love you to distraction!!
Marlo is crate trained (she sleeps through the night with her sister in a crate), partially house trained (still working on it) and very affectionate and socialized. Marlo is healthy and likes to lay at your feet and sleep. Still very much a puppy, Marlo needs some work on her leash walking and needs to continue working on her good doggie manners.
If “Talking About My Girl” plays in your mind, then Marlo is the one for you. More reserved than her sister, Koko, but just as affectionate. With soulful eyes she will steal your heart and quietly sit near you. But don’t think she is too “boring”, because when she wants to play, play she does . . . she retrieves a tennis ball (with KoKo trying to help) and loves to chase butterflies. She is blonde, 4-5 months old and weighs 32 pounds. She will need a home where she will get daily exercise and plenty of play time so a fenced yard is a must.
Marlo is in her foster home and not at the shelter. If you would like to meet or ask other questions about this sweet energetic girl, please contact
