Linus was found by one of our volunteers, wandering around starving and cold. She took him in, has nursed him back to health and will provide a foster home for him until a loving forever home can be found.
He's a good looking boy, a possible mixture of lab and either retriever or spaniel, with cute fuzzy floppy ears. Since he is a puppy (currently weighing 17 pounds), Linus is very active but can quickly turn right into a very loving little lap dog. His foster mom reports that he is a quiet guy not prone to barking. She is working on his crate training and on his house training. He is learning to sit on command, already walks very well on the leash and will quickly respond to "no" and a finger snap as a behavior correction. Linus loves to bring your shoes to you, plays well with the cats until they get enough of him and is very good with children. All in all, his foster mom believes he will be an amazing pet for a loving home.
Linus is in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you think this sweet growing boy can fit into your home and your heart, and would like to meet or ask other questions about him please contact
