Boo Girl was rescued from the city shelter on Halloween Weekend. She had a cough at the time of her rescue but that is all cleared up now and she is full of energy and hoping for a forever home. Boo Girl has pretty “orangish” spots and a big orange circle around her tail.
She loves to play and to sit in your lap or take a nap with you. She would be best with a doggie pal to play with because she loves to run and play a lot. A family with kids (old enough to know she's small) would be great! She is a great baby-sitter and will keep the kids busy with her antics - they could play “tug” with her rope toys and if you throw the ball she’ll bring it right back to you- - - Boo Girl LOVES to play ball!
This little girl sleeps in her crate all night long or would be happy to sleep in bed with you but she doesn't like to be locked in her crate when someone is at home - she will bark at you until you let her out. Like most dogs, she loves treats, too. As an added benefit if you adopt this sweetie is she only chews on her toys – never shoes or her bedding – she's a smart girl. Another bonus: If she hears strange or loud sounds at night or when it’s very quiet she will alert you.
Boo Girl has been spayed, has all of her shots and is on heartworm preventative. She is about 6 months old and weighs about 8 pounds.
Boo Girl is not at the shelter but in a foster home. You can call her foster Mom (Elaine Munch) at 214-629-7993 if you have any questions or what to meet this little one.
This animal has been lucky enough to be adopted into a loving home! Please help us find homes for the others by contributing in any of these ways.
