Reese was left tied to the shelter fence. She is in good physical shape so perhaps her family wanted her but could just not take care of her any longer.
Reese is a pretty girl and is sweet, affectionate and playful – she likes attention and has a lot of energy. She appears to be Keeshond mix, a breed that is friendly with people and dogs, good-natured and quick learners. She has a heavy coat that will require brushing a couple of times a week.
Reese spent time with a family recently and they report the following: Reese is a very, very sweet dog and she is good in the house. She has never gone to the bathroom inside the house and doesn’t jump on furniture or chew up things that she’s not supposed to. She needs lots of exercise – a family with active kids who would just play with her and give her lots of attention all day would be ideal. She loves kids and does very well around them. She does need some positive training in some areas – she needs work on her leash walking and perhaps training with a gentle leader. She is good around other dogs – loves to go to the dog park and doggy day care.
Sweet Reese is simply looking for a home with a yard and one where she will be included as part of the family, receive lots of love and plenty of exercise.
Please come and meet Miss Reese at Dog & Kitty City.
