Color: Black with Brown, Red, Golden, Orange or Chestnut
Date of Birth: 08/04/2011
Chico and his sister Clover were rescued with their mom Crimson from a kill shelter. These two little pups are even too young to be at the shelter so they immediately went into foster care.
They are Chihuahua mixes and it will be fun to see just exactly how these two look when they get older because they have their own distinctive coloring and appearance!!
As puppies, they love to do the things all puppies like to do – wrestle with each other, eat, sleep, explore and then sleep some more!! Chico is twice as big as his sister and stocky in stature. He is a very sweet little guy who loves to lay on the couch and to play with his mom and his sister. His foster mom is working with him on his leash walking and using the pee pads and he is getting the hang of it – he also loves to play with kittens but doesn't know his own strength - don't forget those tummy rubs - and Chico likes to chew on anything and will eat anything!!!
Since these puppies are very young, they need a home that will provide them love and tons of play time, lots of patience and as they grow older they will need proper house training and taught good doggie manners so they will make good family members.
Chico is not at the shelter but in foster care but if you want to see this lively little guy you can contact us at
to make an appointment to see him.
