Pretty Spady (named because of the "spade" on her face!) came to the shelter in March, very pregnant. Her rescuer was unfamiliar with momma cats and was fearful that as a young mother Spady would have problems. We put her in foster care and next day she delivered 9, yes 9 kittens. Foster mom's comment: "What was she thinking?"
Spady was a perfect mom and loved her little ones until they found forever homes. To assure her 'mother of the year' award, she adopted 4 orphans at the shelter and got them through a rough patch and healthy enough for adoption.
Now it is her turn. This pretty girl is sweet and affectionate. She is not happy at the shelter. She deserves a very special spot in a very special home. Please come meet her and let her steal your heart!
This animal has been lucky enough to be adopted into a loving home! Please help us find homes for the others by contributing in any of these ways.
