Britney was found by a bus driver who took her to PetSmart where she was placed with our AAP team and ended up at the shelter. She is a total cutie pie fluff ball. She is new to the shelter and just learning her way around but what a little spitfire!! Not shy, she is pretty much everywhere at once when playing with the other puppies and small dogs at the shelter.
Britney is a Border Collie/Lab mix - a combination of energy, devotion, a keen ability to learn and loyalty to their owners making them excellent family pets.
We are still learning about Britney’s personality but since she is very young, a home where she will receive lots of love and training with positive discipline is preferable. She needs to learn all the things that puppies need to learn, good doggie manners, house training and the safe feeling that comes from a good home. Britney will not be a small dog but will probably be a medium size dog weighing somewhere around 45 or 50 pounds.
If you have patience and willingness to work with this sweet little girl and teach her all the good and proper things a dog needs to learn, you will no doubt get a great companion in return.
