Bear has a predicament!! Her owners, who have had her since she was six weeks old, unknowingly moved to a location that does not allow dogs of her breed. Bear has been in a foster home since that time but now her owners must find a permanent home for her.
Bear is a Rottweiler, weighing between 115 and 130 pounds. Rottweilers are known as good-natured, very devoted and obedient dogs. They are a self confident, courageous and intelligent and make good companions. The Rottweiler is a rough and tumble kind of a dog, ready for anything and easy to train if treated with respect and consistency, playful and loving to their family.
A gentle giant of a dog, Bear loves to play, has her favorite toys and can be captivated with just the sound of the clicking of a pen. She knows several commands including sit, lay down, leave it, stay, speak, come and go potty….she is leash trained and gets along with smaller dogs.
A preferable home for this large sweet dog would be one where she can live inside, has a fenced yard and a home where she will be loved and allowed to become a part of her new family.
Bear is in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you would like to meet or ask other questions about her contact
This animal has been lucky enough to be adopted into a loving home! Please help us find homes for the others by contributing in any of these ways.
