Ascot was turned in by his owners to a kill shelter, how totally sad is that? But, we made space for this guy because he still has a lot of love to give.
Ascot is a really sweet laid back kind of a guy. He eagerly accepts pets, likes to be brushed and plays very well with the other dogs. He is in foster care now and although he was a little heavy when he came to the shelter, his foster dad has him on a diet and he is now just about where he should be weight wise.
Ascot is a Cocker Spaniel - cheerful, kind and gentle dogs who are trustworthy and charming with an ever-wagging tail. They are active, playful and devoted and are good with children. They tend to love everyone and need loving leadership and daily exercise. Cockers will do okay in an apartment if they get adequate exercise.
Ascot is an extremely good passenger in the car, walks very well on the leash, he does well around children and is just all around "great" when he is with other dogs and people. His foster dad also reports that he is now house trained.
Ascot certainly deserves better than what has been dealt to him - will you let this sweet gentle guy retire with your family?
Ascot is not at the shelter but is in a foster home so is you would like to meet him or ask more questions, contact
