Vixen came from a local kill shelter. She was found stray and was being held in case her owners showed up. Nobody did, but when one of our volunteers was at the city shelter and she saw Vixen, she saw a sweet, friendly girl and couldn't stop thinking about her. Luckily our shelter had space and we were able to bring Vixen in. Of course, this being Christmas time and all, she had to have a reindeer name!
Vixen loves people and she loves to play. She will even fetch a ball! She is energetic and will run around the yard if given the chance. In her pictures, her tail is a blur, that's how happy she is. She seems to like children too, she'll run after them and let them pick her up. When she was going from the City shelter to ours, little Vixen snuggled into the lap of the driver. She's a cuddly little girl.
Vixen would do well in an apartment or a home. She likes other dogs, so if you have one, she'd be a great little gal pal.

P.S. We think Vixen is a mini-dox
