Buddy came from a shelter where he was scheduled to be put to sleep since he had a skin condition – non-contagious mange – unless someone rescued him. Luckily a volunteer foster for DKC was willing to step in!
This sweet little guy has been a sweetheart from the beginning – very loving, eager to play and get to know everyone. And he has no idea he only weighs 6.5 pounds! He loves wearing the shirts, jackets and sweaters his foster mom puts on him – he is not only a good sport, he likes to keep warm now that it’s starting to get chilly outside.
Buddy likes other dogs, is curious and friendly to everyone, and is a great companion. He is crate-trained and doggie-door trained and is learning how to walk on a leash. Today he’s healthy and happy and ready to find his forever home!
*Buddy is in foster care and not at the Shelter, so please email
with questions. You can see him at the Saturday Adopt-A-Pet events.
This animal has been lucky enough to be adopted into a loving home! Please help us find homes for the others by contributing in any of these ways.
