Keeper was found by a woman - he was running loose on the streets, but with a look of desperation in his eye. She kept following him, and eventually, the woman captured Keeper to get him to safety. She thought he was a cute boy, goofy even with his funny underbite, but the circumstances were not such that she could keep him.
With a heavy heart, she brought him to our shelter, but knowing that we are no-kill made her feel better. She said "keep him safe". And, we will! We also named him Keeper, just as a reminder to his next owner.
Keeper is a sweet boy, still figuring things out at the shelter. He was warm and friendly when his pictures were being taken. He likes playing with the other dogs at the shelter and is eager to meet new people. He's a good boy!
