Hey there, I'm Jax and wow, what a story I have. Well, all I can say is that I was abandonded and tied to the side of the shelter fence. It was horrible, I was afraid that something would come get me and I couldn't get away. Lucky for me, all that happened was that some nice person untied me and they agreed I could stay at the shelter. By the way, just in case you are wondering, I'm not a big boy. I certainly weigh less than 20 pounds (more than 15 too).
I'm a young boy, full of life and energy. I'm bubbly and friendly and I like getting pets and being with people. I crawled into the lap of my photographer during my shoot, that's how comfortable with people I am. I'm a pro now at walking on the leash and I like it! I am cautious around the cats, the jury is still out on whether or not I can be with them. I don't chase them initially, but I will bark at them. Maybe I will get used to that curious creature after all.
On thing for sure, I can get used to being in a responsible, loving home. I will be a great companion, one that likes getting pets and running around.
