Curtain Club is organizing a new battle-of-the-bands benefit for Humane Society of Dallas County on Sunday May 24th between 3:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Join us, listen to great music and help our shelter!
Tickets are $10 and all the money raised will go to DKC. The shelter will be selling hot dogs, nachos, chips and candy bars to raise money as well.
The first such event was a lot of fun and a great fundraiser, so let's make this one even better!
Join us on April 26th as fans of Dog & Kitty City get down and rock it out with some amazing live music at the Curtain Club for Bands in Accord! This battle-of-the-bands event is an incredibly cool benefit just for us, the Humane Society of Dallas County.
You are invited to an event to benefit Dog & Kitty City! Join us April 18th at Lucky Dog Barkery from 3 to 6 pm. Dogs and cats are invited.
Featured guests include: Dr. Pam Montgomery-Fittz (holistic vet), Victoria Severns (tellington t touch), Debbie Underwood (accupressure), Scott Harness (K9 massage therapist), Erin Fenstermaker (dog trainer) and Samantha Warren (animal intuitive).
From 6pm to 8pm, Truluck’s is hosting Dog & Kitty City’s volunteers, fans and supporters to help raise money in support of the shelter.
For a small cover charge at the door (proceeds go to the DKC puppies & kittens, of course) they’ll have happy hour prices on beers and specialty martinis ― pomegranate, chocolate and more!
The fabulous snacks by Truluck's will be on the house – things like Ratatouille Tartlettes, Hot and Crunchy Shrimp, Blue Crab Tostados, and some International Cheese, Fruit and Crackers plates.

Dog & Kitty City recently received a very welcome aid in the sleek shape of a brand-new shelter van, which you can see in the article pictures. The van arrived to us through the kindness of a corporate donor who wanted to remain anonymous.
A big THANK YOU to the donor and to DKC Public Relations Director Holly Morgan, who was instrumental in getting this donation. Corporate donations are very important to the survival of the shelter.
The new van will be used to transport the shelter dogs and cats to adoption events and temporary adoption centers like Petsmart, which help the animals reach out to more potential adopters.
